Alya noticed the guards close in around her and Denna. Tensing, she pulled her Agiel from the holder at her waist. "Mord-Sith do not answer to the general. We answer only to the Lord Rahl. I wish to have a word with him and Vivianne, and I would advise you not to stand in my way." She gripped the Agiel tighter and lifted it slightly to maker her point.

"I would do as she says," Denna remarked. "This one has a particularly insatiable blood lust once she gets going. As do I." On the last word, she drew her Agiel to prove her point. She'd been bored for far too long, and didn't care who she hurt at the minute.

The guards stare at them as they pull out their Agiel. The guards look at each other, talking without saying anything. They then put their sword back in their handled and return back to their posts.
"You may enter the office of General Janus Hassildor"
The same guardsman that were speaking before say to them as he then grip his sword's hilt in disgust of his defeat. Knowing the General would have him and the rest of the guards severely punish.

Alya gave the guard a fake smile. "Wise choice," she said. Putting her Agiel back into its holder, she kept her hand by it just in case. She pushed open the doors and stormed into the room. "What is the meaning of this?" she asked forcefully.

Denna gave the guards a threatening look before following Alya into the room. She wouldn't have bursted in like that, has she been alone. But watching what Alya did may provide her with more ways to gain support. Standing at Alya's side, she looked at the general, putting her Agiel in its scabbard as Alya had done.

Janus look at the woman that bust in already have an annoying image of this Mord-Sith. He then see another Mord-Sith this one seems to have common sense.
"What is this? A tavern where people can walk freely in?"
He spoke about the storming in his office.
"What the point of having guards if they don't guard anything? This is why I always fancy the Dragon Corps they actually guard, lucky I have them under my boot."
He spoke about his guards not doing nothing but also a hint of his influence.
"Now Mord-Sith tell me this. Why are you here and who are you before I lose my patience of what little I have left of it towards you."
He say to the Mord-Sith that bust through his room, his glare then look toward the second Mord-Sith. It were a glare that were almost alike to that of the Lord Rahl's glare.
"Also what are your name?"
He asked her also.

Alya glared at Janus, looking down on him slightly. "I heard you summoned a Mord-Sith here, and apparently it's true. You don't seem to realize that we do not take orders from anyone but the Lord Rahl unless instructed by the Lord Rahl himself."

"We have every right to be here, general," Denna said. "But we shouldn't have entered the way we did. My friend still has to learn basic manners." She shot a look at Alya, making it seem cold to the Janus, but trying to convey the trick to Alya. She turned back to the general. "To answer your question, I am Mistress Denna."

Janus laugh at the woman comment on orders. And then that laugh turn into a cold snarl.
"Listen I was the Lord Rahl closest advisor and most powerful general. I bet you never have the honor of even seeing and greeting the Lord Rahl in person. Now If I want a Mord-Sith here, then I will get one. Mord-Sith you have a lot to learn about who to speak to and how. For as of now you are nothing, and can be easily replace by who? I don't care, you think a Mord-Sith will put fear in my heart? You really need to listen to the rumors about me cause everyone of them is true. The reason I don't have your head on my desk because my loyalty to the Lord Rahl and knowing that the Mord-Sith are one of the first great servants of the House of Rahl."
Janus then look at Denna and then chuckle.
"So you are the Mord-Sith that have fail in a mission and the Lord Rahl I guess were disappoint."
He say with a smirk as he walk over to Denna and glare at her.
"And actually you have no right. This is my office, those are my soldiers and easily your heads can be on my desk."
He say coldly as he care not who he talking to and how. He then return and walk back to his position and then to his desk and sat down. You can tell Janus bloodlust outweighs even the most fear Mord-Sith, one of the reason why Janus were the greatest general and already hold commands. Of 40% of the D'haran army.
"Now Mistress Denna, tell me why are the Mord-Sith now picking a leader?"

Alya glared at Janus coldly. "I have seen Lord Rahl, as a matter of fact. But since there is no Lord Rahl at the moment, the Mord-Sith currently have no leader. We answer to whoever we choose."

"My good general, I was trained by Lord Rahl to become a Mord-Sith. So don't assume that you are at a higher position than me. And if you try to get my head on your desk, you will die before your hand can draw your sword." Denna was then slightly taken aback at the general's last question. "We need a leader to follow, don't we?" she said. "As I'm sure you know, I am competing against Dahlia for the position. But it would be...very unfortunate for all if she won."

He laugh at Denna, somehow no fear were shown.
"You I like!"
Janus chuckle, he had a small smirk on his face. He glare at both mord-sith. Janus then look at the other mord-sith.
"Since you answer to whoever you wish, Vivianne have answer to come to me when I call."
Janus laugh and then rub his hand and then crackle his knuckles.
"It be unfortunate for her to lead, how exciting. Then clearly it shows you are the better candidate!"
Janus smirk and then he stand up leaning over his desk watching each and every mord-sith in the room.
"We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment...and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap."
Janus say to all the Mord-Sith but it were directed at Denna explaining that if she have a chance to take the leadership do not be afraid to take it and destroy anything in her way.

Denna caught the hidden meaning in Janus' words. "You would prefer it of I were to lead the Mord-Sith, general?" she asked. Although she was slightly shocked, she didn't show it. If the general approved of her, then her competition against Dahlia may be all the more easier.

Alya watched the exchange between Janus and Denna with a slightly interested expression mixed with boredom. She had no wish to stay and bandy words with a general when there were more important things to do.
"Is it possible for you two to speed things up? I have better things to be doing," she remarked, inspecting the fine gold chain on her Agiel.

Janus look at Denna with a slight chuckle.
"What do you believe?"
He asked Denna and then turn his gaze to Alya.
"No one is keeping you here, for you are not useful to me so I don't care where you go."
Janus sat back down on his chair and gaze at Alya.
"You believe everything about you? It is not, remember that Mord-Sith. This is about the salvation of D'hara, as the Mord-Sith fight, who is left to clean up the pieces. The D'haran generals took it upon themself to take the loyal soldiers they have and control regions of the lands. And the regions not under the control of a general, they is carnage, revolt, rebellion and also the Seeker of Truth".
He then put his hand on the hilt of his sword, with a sadistic grin upon his face.
"Considering what the world has done to me, I have already done more than it deserves."
He then look at Denna and then Ayla.
"And yet still I fight, D'hara will be under control by me, the generals will die their regions my. The revolts ended and under control by my troops. And once the Mord-Sith is done fighting. We can work together and kill the seeker for the murder of our Lord Rahl."
He then shift his gaze upon Ayla with a serious expression.
"If that not worth your time, then you are not a Mord-Sith just one of these commoners who go into their selfish desires."
Janus then went back into his relax expression, he have a grin on his face. Even the Mord-Sith well some of them should know that if General Hassildor say he can do it, then it 98% likely he can. Janus would have attack the Midlands and conquer 15% of it within a month if the seeker wasn't born or were just dead.
