Vivianne and another Mord-Sith, Ingrid, had been sent on what was supposed to be a routine mission to Nicobarese. All they had to do was to pick up two new girls that had been chosen for training as Mord-Sith. Unfortunately, the mission had not gone as planned.
The father of one of the girls had apparently been expecting them, because he had at least half a dozen men waiting for them. A fight had ensued, and Ingrid had been killed in the battle. Vivianne had barely escaped with her life, and was now hiding in a cave in the surrounding mountains.
She was a disgrace to the name of Mord-Sith. Hiding in a cave... her partner killed and her mission failed. She didn't deserve to wear the red leather.
She figured she would wait until nightfall, then hopefully sneak out unnoticed and take the high road back to the People's Palace. In the meantime, she should be safe in the cave, as long as no one else came along...
