Personality (at least four sentences): As with any Mord-Sith, Denna seems devoid of any emotions other than hate or anger. She was considered special by Darken Rahl as she was so difficult to break, and was taken to be a Mord-Sith at a young age as she was uncommonly passionate. There are, however, some emotions buried deep down. When she first meets Richard, she is completely twisted. She finds delight in torturing Richard, but sometimes held back out of a twisted caring for him and other times felt she was sharing her feelings by doing her worst to Richard. She soon hates him though once he kills her and escapes, leaving her to the mercy of Rahl.
History (at least four sentences): When Denna was being trained to become Mord-Sith, she was almost deemed a failure and killed as her training took so long. The second stage of Denna's training, where she had to watch her mother being tortured, took a while as her mother was so strong. She was trying to save Denna from becoming a Mord-Sith, but actually made it harder for the girl to give in, and the process more painful. Denna was eventually broken by Darken Rahl himself.
Denna was eventually assigned the mission of capturing the Seeker, Richard Cypher Rahl, and training him. She was assisted by her fellow Mord-Sith Constance. When Kahlan and Zedd went to rescue Richard, the Seeker killed Denna and managed to escape. She was revived by Constance with the Breath of Life, and was tortured by Rahl for her failure.
She was then sent to obtain the third Box of Orden using Richard's sister, Jennsen, the Pristinely Ungifted one. She failed this, too, but Richard was merciful to her, and allowed her to flee from him and Darken Rahl.
RP Sample (at least four sentences, but must be as the character you're applying for): Denna walked through the halls of the People's Palace, her mind working furiously. Since she returned when word of Lord Rahl's death reached her, most of the Mord-Sith had not taken kindly to her reappearance. She knew that was because she failed in obtaining the Third Box of Orden, but that was only a hiccup. They all knew how much Lord Rahl prized her above the rest of them. She felt she deserved a sliver of respect, at least.
