"I am a soldier who have been planning to conquer the Midlands for years. The seal I have...how we get the letter to them. Just need to find a innocent woman who will do this for us. Just is case the Mother Confessor confess the person."
Janus said with a smirk, it is true he have been planning to take over the Midlands for years and he find many ways to do it. He have the seal of all the kingdoms and even Aydindril but it took years to get.

"Well, at least we have the seal," Denna said. "But how to get it to her, now..." she thought. Then she had an idea. "What if we send my pet to them? Since he is a Confessor, the one they're with won't be able to tell if he's lying or not."

Janus read a lot of books, and the library in the People Palace and his on personal talks with the Lord Rahl. Kept his well inform on many magical beings and forms of magic.

"You have heard correctly, general," Denna said, confirming what he said. "But he doesn't have to say he's a Confessor. He could just give them the letter and leave. Who else could we send?" Denna didn't know where they could get a participant from, whether they were willing or not.

"There is a small village up ahead, we just get one of the girls and confess the girl making her think she from the Midlands and the Central Council sent her to give the Mother Confessor the letter. And even if the Mother Confessor confess the woman, the confession already on her will make the Mother Confessor believe her."
Janus chuckle, have no compassion for using other people willing or not. General Janus is just as ruthless as Darken Rahl perhaps more.

"Alright, we'll do that." Denna said. She liked the way Janus worked around things. "We'll head there tomorrow, then send whoever we Confess ahead of us." Denna smiled at the plan. "Is there anything else that needs discussion?" she asked.

Janus say, he then stand up and walk back this his desk and sat down. He then return into sharping his blade, he glance at Denna before looking back at his sword.

"Very well." Denna knew the general was basically dismissing her. Awkwardly, she bid him goodnight before dragging Keleth put after her. She went into her own tent, pointed on a spot on the ground and told the Confessor to wait there. She then got into her bedroll, not bothering to take off her leather, and went to sleep.

After Denna left, Janus spend a hour sharping his blade before going to his bed and falling asleep. It is six in the morning, Janus is up early due his his military life of waking up this early. Janus had his full armor, his sword sheath at his side. Janus is by his horse grooming it, the soldiers were asleep except four of them who had guard duty. Janus would let them sleep another hour before waking them up Janus would normally wake them up, but he was going to do it this time he is going to show some kindness.

A short while later, Denna awoke. She got up and whacked Keleth with her Agiel, jerking him up. His chain had never been removed, and he immediately went to his mistress when she pulled it. She quickly walked out to see the camp was almost empty, save a few guards. She saw Janus and nodded at him before walking over to her horse.

"I am surprise you are awake, Mistress Denna. You do have another hour of sleeping."
Janus say to her, he kept looking at his horse as he groom it. Despite his ruthlessness, he is quite caring toward things he care about mostly his horse. He had this stallion for years, it is almost a part of Janus but he will never say it. Janus glance to his side and look upon Denna and her servant boy, he then turn his gaze back at his horse.

"I want to get a head start," Denna said to Janus as she mounted her horse. "I'm going to ride ahead to this village you mentioned. Hopefully there'll be someone available to confess." She pulled Keleth up on to the saddle behind her. Denna was anxious, and wanted to find the Seeker's group as soon as possible.

"Very well, head north and then follow this road through the woods. Follow the sounds of the waterfall, once you reach the waterfall go to your right and in a few hours you should reach the village. Once you find some people, you will meet back with us at Boundaries. Understood?"
Janus say in a commanding, demanding voice. Like Denna was a soldier and him her captain. But his voice is not surprising, it be weird due to his military background not to have this tone in his voice.

"I understand, general." Denna thought it unnecessary for Janus to talk to her in that tone. They were equals in this alliance, after all. But she supposed that he was a soldier, and he was used to addressing people as such. Shrugging it off, she turned her horse to face north. She looked back at the general before galling off.
