About Your Character:
Character's Name: Shota
Classification (eg., wizard, Seeker, Confessor, etc.): Witch Woman
Powers/Abilities: Powerful magic: Among other things, she can bewitch people with her mere presence; when she chooses, she can intensify this effect (though it's not as powerful as that of a Confessor) She can change her appearance at will, and also possesses the ability to see the ebb and flow of time
Weapon of Choice: I'm my own weapon
Strengths (what are they good at?)
- Magic
- Manipulating others
- She has a power to bewitch people with her mere presence; when she chooses, she can intensify this effect
- Disgusing her appearance
- Her name is known throughout the Midlands, and is feared by most. Even wizards are reluctant to seek her out
Weaknesses (what aren't they good at? What do they fear?)
- Like most who possess powerful magic, she fears the Ungifted
- She has a terrible temper when things don't go her way
- She's not exactly the warm, friendly type
- She's not very fond of Mord-Sith
Appearance:
Picture (please post no larger than 500 x 500.):
Hair Color: Dark red/Auburn
Eye Color: brown
Skin Tone: fair
Clothing: She's kind of the fashion queen of the Midlands and may be seen in anything from long, flowing black gowns to white, fur-trimmed capes
Height: 5'6"
Body Type: slender, but curvy
Personality (at least four sentences): It is difficult to know whether or not you can trust Shota. This is because she ultimately has no "side" and is loyal to no one but herself. She is not neutral; she has her own goals and plans. She is powerful enough that she could probably take over the Midlands herself (especially if she had a wizard at her side), but she chooses not to. Instead, she stays away in her own lands, the beautiful and dangerous Agaden Reach and manipulates the world around her, like a goddess looking down from the heavens.
She does have her weaknesses, however. She is vulnerable to Mord-Sith, who can turn her power against her, to Confessors, and to wizards of great power like Zeddicus. She has a temper and does not like when she doesn't get her way. She also does not like to be tricked, although it happens rarely.
History (at least four sentences): Shota is much older than she appears. Her history goes back so long that even she doesn't entirely remember it all. She knows that her mother was born in an age when male confessors were allowed to live and roam free, causing destruction in their wakes. Shota remembers the stories from her mother, and greatly fears this history being repeated.
In her youth, Shota had a love affair with a young Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander. Together, the two of them could have been very powerful and borne children of immense, nearly unstoppable power. It was for this reason that Zedd broke off with Shota, but there is still a connection there, and Zedd is one of the few people who can get through to Shota when all others have failed.
For as long as most everyone can remember, Shota has lived alone in the Agaden Reach, occasionally bewitching a handsome youth to be her servant. She still appears as she did in her prime, but whether that is truth or part of her power is anyone's guess.
RP Sample (at least four sentences, but must be as the character you're applying for):The sun beat down from a cloudless sky as Shota made her way to the water's edge. A light breeze was blowing, creating sparkling ripples of light on the surface of the water. Birds were singing nearby, and all seemed well.
But Shota had a feeling, a sense that all was not as it seemed. With graceful steps, she walked to the very edge of the river and knelt down, dipping her hand lightly into the water. She swirled it around and peered into the resulting spiral shape.
Such sights she saw! He was returning, send back from the Underworld to challenge the Seeker once more. And there was something else... some frightening new force on the horizon...
Before she could see more, however, the crack of someone stepping on a branch rang out, and footsteps approached loudly.
"Zeddicus," Shota said, not turning around. "I knew you'd come."
