Shota was getting annoyed. She had come here to help them, and she certainly didn't have to do that. She could have just stayed happily hidden away in Agaden Reach and let Zedd and the Seeker and the Confessor bumble along on their way, unknowing of the danger that faced them. But she had come to warn Zedd, because she still cared for him. And the mission he was on was of the utmost importance. Even if Zedd stubbornly refused to do as she told him and appoint a new Seeker, the fact remained that, as of now, he was still the best hope they had of defeating the Keeper.
"I am most certainly not mistaken," she informed him coldly. "My visions are never wrong, and yet you continue to deny the truth of them. I am telling you, Darken Rahl has been brought back by the Keeper. I know not how or why, but I imagine it is to prevent the Seeker from finding the Stone of Tears."

Zedd
Zedd grunted then said,"If it's true as you say Richard wil eventually know about it do not underestimate the boy I Will not name another seeker yet and the sword isn't here with me so we will get some rest and get going "looking at Kahlan to see if she was up to it.Then looking back at Shota he asked,"Where is Darken Rahl now as we speak you must have a clue on that?"
He stretched himself and then continued,"If Rahl is back with the keeper's blessing it's to get back to Richard and D'Hara and the Battle must between both of them magic with magic that what the first time and it will happen also this time the only thing we can do is help him and support him and you know that."looking at Shota then Kahlan, making sure they understood what he was saying well he hoped they did.

Kahlan nodded. She understood. Magic was the one thing prophecied to distroy Darken Rahl. It only made sense that Richard would have to use it again to send him back to the underworld. "You're right, Zedd. We need to get back to Richard. We need to warn him about Darken Rahl." Kahlan looked to the witch woman. "Thank you, Shota, for warning us." She couldn't believe that she was thanking the Witch. But she had done a huge favor for them by warning them about Darken Rahl. Kahlan was even more eager to get back to Richard than she was earlier. She knew that he was in good hands with Cara's protection, but a Seeker needs a Confessor and a Wizard by his side.

Zedd
Zedd gave a smile at Kahlan when she spoke and then said looking at Shota,"Now if you have nothing else to say or do other than to help us get some rest so we can get packed and get on our way and reach Richard and Cara be gone your way you said what you came for now it's up to us and Richard's wit's to see and do what has and will be done to outrun Darken Rahl."
Getting up he got is things and started to put them in is pack sack not even looking at Shota so she wouldn't have any advantage to continue arguing on her idea of naming another seeker .He wasn't about to bluntly put is feet into Shota's visions and make the unthinkable just because Richard wasn't there at the moment.
Looking at Kahlan he said,"Get ready I'll take care of the fire and be ready in fifteen minutes were going to back and get Richard and Cara."and went to is horse and is things in the side sack of the sadlle..After he went to the small fire and put water on it slowly with dirt saying as he finished,"Are you ready Kahlan ?"turning and going to is horse.

Kahlan was ready to leave as soon as Darken Rahl's name left Shota's lips. She only had to sit and wait for the witch to leave. When Zedd dismissed Shota, Kahlan started packing her things up, not that she had gotten much out of her bag in the first place. Her hairbrush and canteen were tossed unceremoniously into her pack, which was then strapped onto her horse's saddle. She searched through her saddlebags to find her white Mother Confessor's dress. She needed to wear it. She needed to feel the security that came from her position as the Mother Confessor. She needed to feel that now, when all of her fears were coming true.
She slipped out of the dark leather dress that she had been wearing earlier, and hurriedly put on the white one. The soft satin and light velvet was the most luxurious thing she owned. The bottom hem of the skirt and ends of the long sleeves had been almost permantly stained a dark brown from the road, but she didn't mind. She laced up the front of the dress quickly, then turned back to Zedd. He was coming towards her, pack in hand, obviously as eager to leave as she was. "Are you ready Kahlan?" he asked her.
"Yes," she replied, "I'm ready." She untied her horse and mounted it, readjusting her dress so it hung modestly over her horse and covered her legs comfortably. She was more than ready. She wanted to get back to Richard as quickly as possible.
